.... Merry Christmas everyone! We so appreciate all of your kind and thoughtful words. It's been such a pleasure associating with all of you through the Spring, Summer and Fall months. We love introducing you to the sport of karting. Working with the kid's is so rewarding, they're our future kart racers. I'm sure that some of the kid's are still talking about their karting experience and asking, "when can we go back to Cherry Valley"? We've had many that visited us for the 'driving experience' buy karts and join into our racing family on raceday Sundays. Yes, we truly are a family here at Cherry Valley Motorsports Park. We're looking forward to seeing you all again in the Spring, and I know we will!

On behalf of Joe, Carol and Jason, have a fun, special and safe holiday season. Happy New Year as well and we'll see you soon!

.... Stan

Perfect place for my son's 13th birthday. The kids had a blast and the people at Cherry Valley were very patient. Thanks for a great day.

Hi Joe,

I wanted to pass along some feedback we received from our friends. As you know I've invited several friends and their children (on many occasions) and every time our friends have been very pleased with their experience! Yesterday, our friend Beth, made it a point to say how good Stan is with the kids and how comfortable he makes people feel. His attention to safety, his positive encouragement and how he makes it a point to say something nice to each child. From my personal perspective, from our friends and some of the racers I know personally, I think he does a fine job and is excellent with your customers.

On a personal note, I have been very happy with the "Cherry Valley" experience. Your knowledge and your ability to always help in every way is extremely important and valuable to me and our family. Even though I live 30 minutes from other kart tracks we choose to drive 2 hours to Cherry Valley.

The people I come in contact with are very pleased with the track the staff and with you and the vast wisdom you bring to the sport. Cherry Valley is a great place and you are doing a great job! I encourage you to keep up the good work because with time and continued dedication the future of Cherry Valley looks very bright.

I know that people have a tendency to complain when they don't like something. I thought you should know when things go well.

Continued success, Tony, Christa & Isabella Barbagallo

Last week I took the family to CVMP for some big time karting. We had all driven various other karts at different places before...but nothing compared to this! I had called ahead and had all my questions answered by Joe, and he was kind enough to set us up with a time where we could have the track to ourselves. Stan had everything all set-up and prepared for us when we arrived. He walked us all through what to expect and gave us great tips and pointers. Stan was GREAT, very friendly, and very helpful!! The karting was much cooler than I thought it would be! FAST and exhilerating. We were able to run a few laps and then come in to discuss our runs before heading back out onto the track. Stan once again was there to help us with whatever needed and to answer all our questions. Back out onto the track- my boys were really flying now, and Brenda was picking up her pace considerably as well! Bottom line...we all had a GREAT time!! I would recommend CVMP, and the kindness and helpfulness of Stan and Joe to anyone. We hope to be back soon!

We had a group outing with a real mix of people - novices who didn't know anything (even what the kart would look like!) to experienced drivers. EVERYONE had fun and Stan and Joe went out of their way to make sure we all felt comfortable and would enjoy the experience. These guys were great - even walked the track with us to explain what we should do - real pros with a joy of the sport that they wanted to share with all of us. Like the old TV commercial said, "Try it, you'll like it!"

Just wanted everyone who reads this site to know about how geat CVMP is!! My son was a semi-pro in motocross racing. He will turn pro in the USGPRU in the next few years. He is a professionally trained young athlete. When I was referred to CVMP, not only were we greeted and treated incredibly well, but also Stan and Joe never said no to us. They only say YES and how can we help you. The track and people we worked with are refreshingly accomodating, nice and great prices....We will be back many times. Best God BlessAll for a healthy and Safe Racing Season!!!!!!

I went to Cherry Valley with my brother (30) my father (60) and myself (26) as a gift for Father's day. Being huge racing enthusiasts we all loved it. We all ran about 20 laps together and I haven't had that much fun on four wheels in a long time. Stan, who was running the track at the time was very helpful with the track, carts and whatever else we needed. It wasn't that expensive either! If someone would have told me sooner we could rent race ready karts 20 minutes outside of Syracuse I would have been going sooner. But now that I know, we will be back very soon. Especially with my father saying "Let's do again sometime" ie next week. See you soon Cherry Valley MP.

WOW! A lot of fun memories were created today. My 7 year old son did 20+ laps today. My face still hurts from smiling so much! Joe and Stan were very generous with their time, set up an awesome mini kart for my son, coached him and after they felt he could handle it, turned him loose. Turned him into a karting monster- he keeps asking "when are we going back?" We plan to go every week. They also set me up with a very fast kart, these are no toy go karts, these are racing karts that are very nicely maintained and FAST!

First off, the track was very well maintained, and had several varieties of turns. We rented the 125cc carts, they were in good condition and plenty fast. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from preparing the carts to giving tips on taking the proper lines. It was a very fun and exciting experience that I hope to take part in again.

What can I say? Cherry Valley is the most fun I have had in years. I had a small kart as a kid, and was able to participate in some races at another track about 15 years ago, but they did not compare to what I did at Cherry Valley. The track is challenging and the staff is top notch. Even upside down as I was at one point I had a great day. I would recommend anyone interested in Karting to go to Cherry Valley.

We were celebrating a bacholer party (sober to this point) adn went to the track as a highlight of the afternoon. There was 13 of us, dads, uncles, and 20 and 30 somethings. We all become our alter egos putting on the helmets. This was without a doubt the very best fun you can have with the most professional and courtesy group of folks. We raced from 4:30 until dark with even a feature race. Do family, friends and, corporate outings here, they really treat you like friends. Simply the very best.

After years of flirting with the idea of getting into a racing go kart, Cherry Valley made the opportunity to try easy and enjoyable.

First I was able to get into a real 125cc racing kart. Second I was able to do it on a weekday when I had the track all to myself. After this post that might not happen again. The cost per lap was compelling. Finally, I got enough of a walkthrough not to make a fool of myself.

I met with Stan at the track at 10AM and he had everything ready to go. He briefed me on some of the common rookie errors of snapping the read end in a corner and stalling at the hairpin. Then he took the time to show me the preferred line and point out some of the visuals as we walked the track. A brief how to climb into the driving position without bending any steering component was demonstrated. A quick instruction on getting going after the engine roared to life with the portable starter and I was on my way.

I signed up for 30laps and had promised myself that I would do 5 recognizance laps and stop to and evaluate what had just happen. To my joy I found that those laps where more spirited than I anticipated. The kart handled quick but predictably. I got the rear loose once but it was under control. However I was glad I stopped. It was more physical work than I realized. On this break Stan came over and gave me some encouragement. Soon I was off again and was pushing much harder. Another break then off again. I felt that I was hitting the marks rather well and not a stall or a spin occurred. When I came in this time we noticed that the left front was down on pressure. Stan had it back in a couple of minutes. My last set of laps I felt were my quickest. However, I was getting mentally and physically tired. On my last lap I made two errors that I did not like so I called it a day.

I’m positive that I got my moneys worth and then sum more. I know I enjoyed ever moment and Stan was a great help.

Now here’s the part to make you all jealous, my beautiful wife of 39+ years has encouraged me to go do it again.

I raced this past weekend (June 15) at Cherry Valley and I can't say enough about the track, the facilities, and the staff. The track itself is really fun, interesting, and challenging. The hairpin at the end of the long, fast front straight is like so many F1 courses; very quick...to slow motion; great over-taking spot going in. Esses, long sweeper, and a chicane. Fast, challenging, fun: pretty cool! Track facilities are nice and getting better. Nice paddock, starting grid, state of the art timing tower, fully equipped garage, and a great food concession. Best of all, though, is the staff. Joe and Jason have a lot of experience racing and tuning, and they are very willing to share their expertise to your advantage. Carol and Aunt Lou are very accommodating, handling registration, food and whatever else might come along. Stan and Frank on the pre-grid, starting line-up are great to work with. It was just a great all-round racing experience. If you're currently racing, or thinking of getting started (or have a youngster that's interested), definitely check out Cherry Valley. You will NOT be disappointed! Peter Hannen Buffalo, NY

joe and jason are dedicated racing go kart experts.

the insight i've learned about carborators and other things will help me with my racing this summer. they are willing to share technical info and other informative data to help anyone go faster.

why? because they love the sport of kart racing and want to see others do well too. i was there saturday and learned a lot about the fuel system and how it works.

i went back the next day and helped out around the track.

the track has been sitting idle for the past 2 or 3 years and much work is needed.

VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

i passed up a day of motorcycle riding and fishing to give them a hand. they bought pizza for everyone there helping and couldn't thank us enough.

please offer you help in getting this track ready for the season. we will all benefit from it.

i look forward to racing at cherry valley this summer. and so should you.
